I watched the last two episodes of MDZS today! Very fun, and an action-packed ride for most of it - particularly Episode 11, which might as well have been titled Everything Happens So Much. :D

The ending was so sweet, with meetings and partings both at once, plus the mystery of Lan Zhan's song finally revealed, with Wei Ying concluding, "A good name. I like it."

I feel the same, Wei Ying. :D


Now I desperately need to find some icons!

(Eventually, I will clean up my episode summary notes and unlock the entries for them, in case they're helpful to anyone else.)

I'm glad you enjoyed the show and found the ending satisfying! :D

I've still got MDZS on my watchlist... I just don't find the time to sit down and actually watch a long-ish TV series. The most I managed was One Piece recently, as it's only 8 episodes and also has a (perfect!) German dub so that I don't have to think much (or, worse, read subtitles XD). *sigh*
Perhaps in Decemeber I might finally get around to finishing Legend of Fei so that I then can start something new. Perhaps perhaps perhaps. XD

I struggle with watching anything, honestly; I'm much more of a reader than a watcher. Live action is harder for me than animation, most times, for some reason, which may be why I made it through MDZS without it dragging out too much. Making it through Nirvana in Fire was miraculous for me! :D

I'm planning to read the MDZS novel at some point, whenever I can track down a recommended version, and in the meantime I'm reading a fan-translated Cnovel with the improbably specific title of After I Married the Disabled God of War As My Concubine. :D

I hope you manage to finish Legend of Fei next month! There are a couple of people on my flist who've watched and enjoyed it.

I guess the easiest MDZS to get would be the official translation. It’s got a few flaws but I think it’s overall better than the only completed fan translation by ExR. There were several promising fan translations ongoing but they of course were discontinued after the novel was officially licensed.
 
How was your novel with the very long title? :D
 
Thanks, I hope I can manage it. Though I’m going to cancel Prime this month and therefore will likely start with watching stuff there before I can't anymore. LoF might be delayed to February, at least partly. *sigh*
