Yay, I'm not alone! Haven't seen the Witcher TV show (don't have streaming services) but I've got a few of the books from the library, and have enough friends who played the games to have picked a lot up from osmosis, and it's working for me so far. :D
I really love that the Silmarillion has such an active fandom, by the standards of its media and age! I'm so used to book fandoms being tiny afairs if the book isn't the Hot New Thing, but here we are decades on and Silm fandom is still going strong. ♥
