Your eyes have been opened! Prepare for a world of delicious drinks, mixed with the occasional cry of, "But WHY don't they sell [pecan extract/lilac flavour/dried mulberries/other thing]!?" when a Great Tea Blend Idea comes to you but stores aren't cooperating. :D
I've always been one of those people who looks at something and thinks, "Bet I could make that." I don't know if it's my crafting hobbies, or just a brain thing, but there's a part of me that assesses everything interesting on the basis of whether I could work out how to do it, and it's stood me in good stead for the most part.
Along with tea, my other hobby is making ice cream, because when the grocery store stopped carrying my favourite Ben & Jerry's flavour I decided that I didn't need them, anyway; I'd just make my own. At this point I haven't bought Dublin Mudslide ice cream in eight years or so, because making it is easier than tracking it down! I've also recreated Baskin Robbins Jamoca Almond Fudge pretty well, which is another favourite. As with tea, I also like coming up with new flavours. This summer I'm definitely going to make pandan ice cream, and I keep tinkering with the idea of a baklava-inspired flavour though I haven't quite worked out how to do it yet.
