"Daredevil" is a good comparison! I suspect that some political cartoonists draw her in Daredevil's outfit as a matter of course. Also as a shark.

John and Karkat are together but Karkat refuses on principle to get married (and by "principle" I also mean "he expects to die before forty human years and mistakenly thinks that it'll save John grief"). Sollux is pretty non-discriminating in terms of sexual partners (he discovers twins), Nepeta is constantly falling in and out of flushcrushes on Japanese and Korean pop stars, and Terezi has a massive caliginous thing for a human she meets in law school (though nothing ever comes of it).
