Foreigner reading: poll results

Well, what an indecisive lot we are. :D Reading plans 1 and 2 were tied with two votes for each, and discussion-posting was tied with two votes for once-per and two votes for twice-per. *giggling*

I didn't vote, which I guess makes me the tiebreaker...

Based on my own preferences, it seems to make more sense to either do Plan 1 with a once a week discussion post (as the smaller sections mean less to discuss), or Plan 2 with a twice a week discussion post.

* Clarification: As I pictured it, if we were to have two discussion posts per week, we would also be reading two sections a week; otherwise, discussion could get too time-lagged and would be harder to keep cohesive.

I have no strong preference because I'm not sure how it'll all work out! I don't know if any particular reading plan is going to require forcing myself to stop reading at the designated point, then go and read the Famous Five or similar non-taxing fill-in while my story is forbidden -- or if I'll get busy with my job (unpredictable hours) and struggle to keep up with the reading and discussing. I think I have no concept of how much I actually read on average through the week!

To clarify: if we have two discussion posts per week, are we reading two sections a week and discussing each one, or reading one section during the week and discussing it over two posts?

I can't decide if I feel strongly or not. Mostly, I disagree with your reading of the first poll results, and that the two options now are a little just once, or a lot twice!

Why not read a little twice a week? 3 our of 4 prefer twice-weekly readings, and I'd assume the two who ideally would read more would prefer to read 50-60 pages twice a week, rather than 50-60 pages just once a week?
