And now for something completely different

On Wednesday I cleared out the 461 emails in my fannish email account. I don't check it as often as I ought! Among the million comment notifications in the heap I found a reply to a post I made elsewhere about '90s anime recs, which seemed worth digging up and filling out a bit to post here!
Here you go; have a bunch of nostalgia. :D
Six Utena fics, Anthy/Utena and gen with various characters:
The Kingdom's Collapse, by Beacandy. Akio, and Ohtori, after Anthy's departure.
To Where She Rode With Me, by ArgetCross. Utena and Anthy forging a life together in the real world.
Stage Props, by halfeatenmoon. A little Nanami character study. Everyone thinks Nanami doesn't understand Ohtori Academy or the duels. Nanami thinks she's the only one who does understand them.
Untangled. Anthy searches for Utena, but eventually Utena finds her.
All of These Things are True, by thatyourefuse. Endings for everyone, when the magic is gone at last.
Worldwalker, by mllelaurel. Anthy searches everywhere for Utena after leaving Ohtori; here are five people who unexpectedly crossed her path. A cleverly-done crossover/fusion!
Three Yami no Matsuei fic recs, all shades of Hisoka/Tsuzuki:
This Boy by Aishuu. Tatsumi re-evaluates Hisoka once it becomes clear that he's more than Tsuzuki's lastest temporary partner. (Bittersweet but hopeful outsider-POV from Tatsumi on the partner he loves but couldn't keep.)
Waiting for Someone to Come In by izayoi_no_mikoto. It turns out having weird powers of empathy doesn't actually help much when it comes to sorting out one's love life. After his shikigami quest, Hisoka finally realises two things: Tsuzuki feels more than respect for him, and Tsuzuki isn't aware that he's in love. It takes Hisoka a little longer to recognise that's true of himself, too.
Closer to Me by veleda_k. Four vignettes in Hisoka and Tsuzuki's early partnership, as they work out what it means to work together and support one another, and how to keep promises they've never quite spoken aloud.
One Vampire Hunter D fic rec:
Tyrianna's Crush by Kirin Faye. My favourite Vampire Hunter D fic! I laugh like a hyaena every time. :D
