Reading (finally!)
Aug. 30th, 2020 08:05 pmWay back in May, I posted my 'currently reading' list. I... have finally completed one book. *sheepish*
It took me so long that I ended up starting all over again, but I finally finished Promise of the Witch-King by RA Salvatore, woohoo!
The good:
* some delightful Jarlaxle-Entreri banter!
* two half-orc characters
* Entreri consciously chooses not to kill someone
The bad:
* there's a whole lot of grinding that gets tedious at times
* the editor must have been AWOL; there are numerous misspelled words and grammatical errors
* they tried so hard to make everybody hetero
It looks like I'll finish with Blood of Elves next, in a day or two.
