Is it just me?

I hate looking at my journal when there's no content -- I actually, actively avoid looking at it when I know my last post was weeks ago, and/or is memes. I go straight to Friends from the login page, as though avoiding the Big Ugly Lack of Posts means they don't exist.

This is probably why I can go such long stretches without posting -- the longer it's been, the more reluctant I am to face what I've failed to do. I'd rather not think about it.

Is this just a bizarre quirk of mine, or do you hate seeing your journal when it's not up to date, too?
