fannish thoughts and lots of fic

I want to post, but I fear all I have to talk about is how far behind I am in Homestuck, and how much of my last week has been squandered on re-re-rereads of all askerian's Homestuck fic, complete and incomplete!

I'm also craving Rose/Sollux and Rose/Eridan fic, which there's not nearly enough of. And quietly being amused at how many of my preferred pairings in this fandom are het; that hasn't happened in forever!

I did run out of paid time, and am now wondering what this means for all my monitored threads over at the kinkmeme -- when I tried to monitor a new one, I realised that unpaid accounts can't do that! Now I am unsure if my formerly monitored threads are still monitored, and if not, will they pop back into existence if I re-upgrade?

hoestuck also gave me some of my very few het ships. I guess it's because there are so many awesome characters and combinations to choose from so the chance is higher. XD

I'm not sure about the monitored threads but it's possible they stay active and you only can't add new ones. when you go to your notifications, they should still be there, but if they're greyed out or something they're probably inactive.
... there is a notifications page somewhere on dw isn't there? *has been here forever* *no clue of anything*

I think you may be right about the monitored threads! I had a notification for one of them this evening in my inbox, so they must still be functioning despite the lack of paid account. Good to know!

(I likewise have no clue about anything on DW; it's sad! I should learn more about it somehow.)

I'm going to renew my paid status next month, I think, I'd just rather wait till then due to financial things.

The KinkMeme is not on LJ anymore! It is now here on DW (homesmut), and I have discontinued my LJ account -- it still exists, but I no longer update there, and I'm not ever going to give LJ my money for anything.

Sigh, I wish I could quit. But my fandoms are still LJ-based although many have migrated to Tumblr.

I understand; it took forever to wean myself away from it, and some of my fandoms still haven't really made the transfer! (Some are mostly on Tumblr, as you mention, and that makes me sad, too.)

The one thing I *really* wish would switch is Yuletide! It boggles my mind that they're still only on LJ, and the last few years I've missed or nearly missed the deadlines!
