Ah, yes, the wonderful humidity! I tend forget how bad it is until I get out there, but at least it means I get out :D (and I'm currently forcing myself to run without timing it, so I don't fret over how slow I'm running).
History said I was nocturnal, too, until I got early morning jobs, and it turned out I was actually more of a morning person. The feeling tired all the time no doubt was also due to an for me unnatural schedule.
I hope you find work - I was unemployed for two years, if that makes you feel any better! It got very, very depressing towards the end. Although it didn't land me work, I highly recommend doing any unpaid work practices and similar things you can get (and even those can be hard to find, I know!!) - it's something to get up for in the morning, and it did give me experiences I could use when I finally did get a job.
Also, it sucks, but asking friends and family about helping you out if they can may pay off, too. After two years I finally broke down and asked my sister if she might be able to do anything to help, even just an unpaid work practice. And she was, and that got me to Copenhagen, where I met my boss at my current workplace, and long story short, I am currently employed, and yay, it was worth it, even though asking was hard :(
