I have now encountered the phrase "b-line" in at least three separate authors' works. On three separate posting media, no less.
Is it some kind of bizarre mutant meme (in the original, not internet, sense)? How are you transmitting this egregious mangling of 'beeline' across vastly different platforms?
Stop it. Please.
I have no idea what a "B-line" is (the queue for admission to a B-Movie?), but every time you use it in place of the correct phrase and no one says anything, every version of Sollux Captor simultaneously sheds one perfect golden tear.
