kraitIf, someday soon, I keel over mid-sentence and perish with an irked snarl half-lingering on my lips, you can reliably inform the coroner that I died of WIP Frustration.
One of the things I did not so much miss about having a fandom that was still in the process of finishing its canon: so many WIP fics! I swear Homestuck fandom's fic assortment is 98% WIP, many abandoned (O kink memes, your besetting -- and most distressing -- flaw!) or just really slow to update. I don't think it's a coincidence that I'm down to two ungnawed fingernails this week and only Contra Legem has updated, of the 30+ fics and authors I'm subscribed to on AO3 and the other 40ish I'm following elsewhere!
Dear Homestuck fandom: how about you let me go, and I promise to come back when you've grown up?
