I think what first caught my eye was that you're into fandom (I think it was Sherlock that caught my attention at first glance). I'm not heavily into Homestuck yet myself but I started in on it a while ago and I'm . . . part of the way(?? no idea exactly how far, lol) through it and enjoying it ^_^ So I might be a full convert later on.

But really I think it was more your writing style. The way you write your entries is fun to read. :D

Yay, fannish people! I can't argue with you there. :D Welcome to Homestuck, too (there are so few of us on DW, it's tragic and I am always elated to find another!), and don't worry too much about not being caught up on it; I'm not either! I haven't quite made it to Act 6 yet. (Maybe I can do that before the hiatus is over? Hmm...)

I feel like I should have some kind of warning for Homestuck fen somewhere on my DW, to the effect that "I like Homestuck because 1. aliens, therefore xenobiology 2. alien cultures and therefore cultural conflict 3. smut fic involving those things", but when I do get started making recs I'll definitely warn for all the sort of thing. :D I've been thinking for a while of making some themed sets of recs, and am trying to pin down the themes I really love and would like to collect fic for; suggestions are welcome, if you're into Homestuck enough that you read fic for it. (Actually, that goes for anyone who might be reading this!)

I was on LJ ages ago as a Final Fantasy fan and DW feels like such a comforting corner of the world that I'm making the effort to come back. My fandom list has expanded of course, but I'm going to try to reflect on my self and creativity (writing, art).

Also, I think an introduction post is a great idea, otherwise I would have probably just lurked! I should do something similar. Nice to meet you!

I'm so glad to see people from old fandoms when they pop up; it's a smaller fannish world than it feels like, sometimes. :D

I'm also glad you found the intro post! It was one of those spur-of-the-moment ideas when I was setting up this journal that turned out to be pretty helpful, I think.

Hi there! I saw you over at the Friending Meme at snickfic's journal and found you intriguing :)
Uh. I also used to be into anime/manga, and a lot of what you want to see in posts is stuff I'm also interested in, so I thought we could give it a try. I used to rec a lot of things, if you look at my tags you'll see I'm inherently multifannish, though I circle through times of mono-fannish obsession, too. Right now I'm into Chinese (BL) webnovels and their TV adaptations, although I've not posted about it, yet. I have a baby to take care of, so my posts are very sporadic at the moment, but I read very regularly and comment whenever I feel I have something to add.

Username is very appropriate around here. :D I'll try to remember to check out your recs - I'm always up for more good fic to read in any of my fandoms. (I totally cycle through various obsessions, too; right now it's anime, but eventually my interest will swing back to SF/F or Final Fantasy or MCU! Or branch off into another direction.)

Please talk about Chinese BL webnovels and their TV adaptations at some point, because this is a fannish area I don't know a lot about and would love to know more! Someone very recently got me started watching a cdrama, Nirvana in Fire, so now I'm curious about other Chinese fandoms. There's a couple DWers on my reading list who are into Guardian, which I haven't seen, and in other fannish circles I hear a lot about 'Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation' which sounds like it might fall under the umbrella of BL webnovels?

Hi! Thanks for introducing yourself; I'm always delighted to find another Dragaera fan. We're rare, though I don't know why! I'm so glad you're enjoying the series so far. I'm currently rereading _Hawk_, in preparation for _Vallista_, so I am full of emotions about this series!
