SVSSS Volume 3

kraitI finished the third and final volume of Scum Villain's Self-Saving System a couple days ago, and keep forgetting to post about it.
The "self-saving system" title drop finally occurs! Took long enough. Certain other things, ahem, also occur! The one I enjoyed most being Shen Qingqiu relaxing enough to actually lie still with Luo Binghe on top of him kissing his face and sliding a thigh between his legs. Cucumber-bro, your straightness is looking somewhat less ironclad than previously asserted...
Despite being annoyed by Zhuzhi-lang's horrendous attempts to "repay" Shen Qingqiu in the second volume, I found myself sad at his death. I guess I'll always feel some attachment to snake-themed characters, no matter how irritating. :D
Overall, I thought it was a satisfying conclusion, and I loved Shen Qingqiu's 'let's go somewhere else' declaration.
Volume 4 is next, at which point I can start reading and reccing fic. :D I also plan to start watching my way through the animated MDZS - it sort of got shuffled into the DVD drawer and forgotten, because I didn't take it out of the mailing envelope before putting it in there. (Oops.)
