songs on the brain lately
Nov. 22nd, 2013 09:04 pmDug out my music and started building some playlists for the car, which I've been putting off due to the complexity involved. (True facts: I am right now using THREE computers. I took pictures.)
Once I finished burning a couple of driving CDs, though, I started poking around through all the stuff I was glad to see but that didn't end up on a disc. So much music! So long since I last heard any of it! I'd forgotten some of ~~feelings~~ attached to certain songs that I used to mainline (thank you, O Repeat button!) when in the throes of writing inspiration. (Not my standard method, but I've still used it more than once.)
Sadly, in case anyone was wondering why I've been so silent: I have written possibly 100 words in the last month or more; I'm going to spend my next day off transferring some music to my laptop, in an attempt to spur me back onto the creative track!
Can't hurt. Even if all I get out of it is a tendency to sing songs nobody recognises under my breath at work.
