Fic rec: drabble, "New Assignment"

"New Assignment" is only a hundred words long, yet it manages to spring a wonderful suprise upon the reader with clever use of what words it has. I daren't say more, except that it's HP/SS and was written by florahart.

fic rec: POTC, "Swords"

It's barely PG-rated, but nonetheless slashy enough to merit my attention. More importantly, however, "Swords" is well-crafted and intriguing, not to mention original, enough to merit my favour. Sasjah Miller offers an interesting take on Captain Jack Sparrow and his place in the triangle of main characters.
