What's a cheery (or cheesy) song that a grownup!John might use as a ringtone for Karkat? (Non-Homestuck fen: what song would you use for a best friend who's a co-leader of your friends group, has no secrets from you, and is comically over-the-top when riled?) Or it doesn't have to be a song; a comedy routine/punchline, TV show theme song, or anything else would also do. It just has to be relatively loud and definitely mood-killing. :D

Also, can anyone suggest movies which have a love triangle as a minor/background element, rather than being the main plot? Preferably a movie that a group of guys would have some interest in seeing.

Thank you all!

Maybe "All I ever wanted" by Basshunter or "We are the Champions" by Queen?

Maybe something from the Katamari Damacy soundtrack? I'm pretty sure that the Katamari Mambo is the BGM for the crab level...

Oh! Oh oh oh! Phineas and Ferb OP! What better than a song about all the cool and impossible shenanigans you're going to get up to with your BFF? Or quite a lot from the Phineas and Ferb song collection, really. (♪ He's a semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal of ack-shun! ♫)

There's a lot of Weird Al or Tom Lehrer stuff that might work. IDK, I could take notes the next time I'm listening to a pop station?

For movies, uh. Oh! Ghostbusters! I think? It's been quite a while since I've seen it, and I'm not even sure the love triangle is developed enough (it probably is in Ghostbusters II, but it gets closer to a main element there, so). Or, IDK, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? I'm pretty sure that crosses the minor/background element line, but it might be close enough. Depending on how you spin it, you might be able to get away with The Road to El Dorado, but I'm not sure a bunch of grownup guys would sit around and watch it, unless someone sold it as an animated classic. ...I don't really watch a lot of movies.
