Shortage of posts, under the weather

Sorry I've been quiet. I'm a bit under the weather, having caught some kind of cold and spending my week trailing tissues all over the house and wishing my nose were less sore. D:

I did reread the first three Tiffany Aching novels, which was enjoyable as usual and reminded me I need to buy the fourth one.

As well as being ill, I'm also under the weather in a more literal way; it keeps being chilly and/or threatening to rain (without doing anything so useful as actually raining), which interferes with my desire to noodle around in the garden or sit outside in the sun with a book. Bleh.

Hope you feel better soon. And I sympathize and empathize about the chilly, damp weather...it's like that here too and interfering with my gardening and my sitting out on my deck with a book.

I thought book 3 was the best of the Tiffany books, but I did like the final book, too. Hope you enjoy it when you get to it!

I think I may have read the 4th book; it was in my local library, so I almost certainly grabbed it. It was long enough ago that I don't remember much, though, and anyway I need my own copy to complete the row on the bookshelf. :)

"Bleh" is a good word for it! I feel okay on every level except respiratory; I want to be doing things! It's just that, while I'm doing them, I'm suddenly overtaken by sneezing and an urgent requirement for Kleenex, or that ticklish sort of cough that doesn't do anything except hint at a headache. Extremely annoying! Just let me do stuff, nose. D:<

Aww, thank you! I really feel fine in every part of me except my face, which seems to have installed a faucet in place of my nose without authorisation. D:< I have energy and want to do things, but keep being interrupted by the need to dash for the nearest Kleenex box. Still, I managed a wee bit of gardening despite the rain, and am re-reading some novels I love, so at least there's that!

It's a nuisance! But at least it's mostly just a nuisance. I probably shouldn't be around other people, but nothing's stopping me from puttering around the garden and working on some painting projects - as long as I keep my pockets stuffed with tissues! So there's that. :D
