Feeling thwarted

I feel rather hollow lately when it comes to fandom -- not having a Big Exciting Active Fandom has left me floundering about in a combination of disappointment (when I get excited and want to be active in something, there's no fandom) and frustration (all the things my flist is getting active and excited about don't interest me, or I don't have access to them). I have all this pent-up fannish energy, but nowhere to direct it.

Anyone want to direct me to where the Sooper Sekkrit Fangathering for my bookish obsessions might be hiding? Or join with me in an effort to kick Loveless- or Eroica-fandom back into action?

Or take a stab at inducting me into a shiny new fandom?

*Hands*. The last new (not just written-in-2003-new-to-me-TS-fic) fic I read was in September 2010 :o(

I could conceivably be tempted into some Loveless action. Shounen manga has been making me sadface quite a bit lately, and I miss all of the prettiness and darkness that came along with Loveless fic.

Yes, yes, join me in Loveless-love! :D I just heard that Volume 10 came out in Japan, so I'm really hoping that means Volume 9 will arrive in the Western world soon. (No actual rumours to that effect, yet, but I can hope!) Maybe it will give the fandom a much-needed shot of virtual caffeine... :D I am loving the transformation Soubi and Ritsuka are slowly undergoing, from dysfunctional individuals to a sort of cross-braced team. (There's not been any Inappropriate Kissing for whole volumes now, which rather supports my pet theory that that was just Soubi Not Comprehending Boundaries like normal people, not genuine sexual attraction... Now I wanna see them reach a point where genuine sexual attraction is possible without involving skeeviness!) :D
