Exciting news for fans of the m/m sci-fi origfic The Course of Honour, which was originally published on Archive of Our Own: the revised and expanded story is now titled Winter's Orbit and is available for pre-order!

I can't wait to see it on my shelves. ♥ Many, many congratulations to author Avoliot, too!

I'm so excited! CoH was very enjoyable, so the idea of Revised-and-Expanded!CoH is delightful.

February seems a long way off, but at least I don't have to remember the exact release date - it'll just turn up in the mailbox and all I have to do is read it. :D

(I don't know if I would call it a cross between Ancillary Justice and anything else in particular, unless this version has a lot more hive minds. AN INTRUIGING THOUGHT. I would liken it to the Vorkosigan saga.)

That description made me laugh, because I have read neither of the titles referenced! Though I recognise them as vaguely fandom-trendy books that came out fairly recently.

Of course, knowing me I'll forget I preordered it and rush to order a copy when the release announcement hits, and end up with two. :D

(When the third Captive Prince volume came out, I got all excited and bought a copy as soon as I heard! Then somehow I totally forgot about doing this, and ordered another a few days later. Oops?)
