Neglecting other journals

I've been neglecting LJ lately, no doubt in part because of the read-along happening here on DW. It's been lots of fun! Thanks, everyone, for indulging me; and I hope you've received something from the experience, too!

I'm totally going to re-read the whole series, and you lot (or new people) are welcome to join me! Or at least put up with my babbling posts, because I brainstorm and absorb things better when I type it out! (I'm also sekritly hoping to start up a Loveless readthrough with other persons, possibly over at LJ on the lovelessdiscuss community -- unlike the fandom at large, I trust that comm's members to be sane as well as squeeful.)

Even more than LJ, though, I've been neglecting IJ. I'm starting to think about dropping it entirely, in fact; I suppose I should do a little headcounting first, though, and try to identify anyone who's over there and not on LJ/DW... maybe find out if they're now on one or the other. Apparently three journals is one too many for my brain to cope with. (Erm, yeah, "three" -- heh. We won't discuss JF... What with the continually-closed journal-starting, the wonky formatting issues I can't seem to shake, and the fact that of all the people on my watchlist over there, only one of them posts regularly, I'm essentially writing it off as a loss. The only thing I use it for now is posting private-locked snippets of whatever I'm bunnied by/working on at the moment, for backup and for inspiration.)

comments
