Fic rec: "Homecoming"

This story left me breathless; elation, and suppressed tears; a lingering ache tinged with triumph.

garlandgraves is a wordsmith of great talent, and Homecoming is an absolutely brilliant thing. What an amazingly strong, mature, yet recognisable Harry; what a sharp, beautiful, and genuine Snape. Subtle foreshadowing. Awesome sensory details, well-chosen poetry, and so very much said in such minimal and starkly sufficient lines.
