I think JKR's trying to tell us something.

That, or her subconscious is trying to tell her something. Look at the names that have come up in the HP books so far:

Padfoot
Puddifoot
Proudfoot

I keep expecting hobbits, next. Or maybe the pitter-patter of little feet.
