Yep, DC is still around and still forums-ing! I did eventually just start going through every email address I remembered having, and found the right one. But oh, boy, what a shining example of how NOT to roll out a site update. "BTW you'll need to know what email you used to sign up for this site in 2009... and if you're not logged in you cannot view any account's email address. Glad that I did get it figured out, though, because I really love forums. They're an oldie but goodie when it comes to fandom social site structures; I wish there were more of them. The old Shejidan forums for fans of CJ Cherryh's sci-fi were great and I miss them a lot, even now!
