November reading challenge
Back at the start of this month, I mentioned that
readingtogether was hosting a self-selected reading challenge. I signed up intending to reduce my to-be-read pile that's been lingering unchanged for too long... then proceeded to start a bunch of books, get totally distracted by real life and the urge to reread Sense and Sensibility followed by the entire Chanur saga, and miss the first two weekly check-in posts at the comm. Oops.jpg, I guess? :P
Here's a belated update!
I have finished:
Half the Day is Night, Maureen McHugh
Primary Inversion, Catherine Asaro
I'm mostly through:
Spock's World, Diane Duane
Throne of the Crescent Moon, Saladin Ahmed
I started Merchant of Dreams by Anne Lyle, but had to stop a few pages in when I realised this was the second book in a series and I hadn't read the first!
Still hoping to get through at least two more, though I've been interrupted by a sudden need to reread the entire Chanur series. (Whyyyyyy does this always happen to me? Brain, this is the ONE month we agreed to read new stuff; cut it out with the reread cravings!)
