I never had the habit of making icons -- I laboriously made the one I use all the time by scanning something I drew, and... that's it. The beginning and end of my iconmaking. :D (Okay, I drew+scanned two.) I have no photoshop skills at all, and no photoshop-esque program to use them on even if I had them, so my "icon making" never developed.
